Jailbraking and unlocking an iPhone for a newbies have never been an easier task to do. GeoHot again comes to help you out in dealing with jailbraking and unlocking an iPhone 3G as well as 3GS versions.

Run downloaded blackra1n app from your computer.
Click on “make it ra1n” button.
Your iPhone will enter in recovery mode.
blackra1n app will download and install all necessary important files on your iPhone and will reboot it.
You will see the message “Enjoy your jailbroken iPhone”, means jailbraking process is done.
Now reboot your iPhone again. You will see drastic change in rebooting time.

To unlock it use following guidelines:

After rebooting iPhone, run blackra1n app from your main menu. Here you will see no network support to iPhone.
Then go to main menu and run Setting option.
Go to Wi-Fi settings and choose and enable “Turd Sandwich” option.
Again run blackra1n app. You will find sn0w option there. Click on Install to begin installtion process.
Reboot your device again.
After rebooting, you will find network here.
