Codenamed Karmic Koala, Ubuntu 9.10 is finally released and made available to download on Ubuntu site today on 29th October. It’s an eleventh release of distribution which will be supporting up to April 2011. So, all Ubuntu fans who already tested beta versions of 9.10 and had been eagerly waiting to test this final release can now download and install it on their computer.

There are lots of improvements have been implemented in this new version by Ubuntu developers. Now through Empathy you can chat and made conversation with our colleagues integrating all major messengers such as Yahoo!, GMail, MSN, AOL etc. In this latest release, Mozilla Fireforx 3.5 version is integrated which is more faster and safe to browse web.

You can use F-Spot to upload your favorite photos from any of your digital equipment to leading social networking sites such as Picasa, Facebook and Flicr, reorganize them, tag and share them as well. You can use Rythmbox player to play your digital media files. With Rythmbox, you can download your favorite media collection from your mp3 player, iPod, and PSP, stream and play videos from social media sites such as YouTube, BBC and others.

Latest OpenOffice.org 3.0 is made available to create professional documents, spreadsheets and presentations and which is absolutely free to use. Now, you can have more than 400 games to download on internet. like all major online storage organizations, Ubuntu 9.10 has provided online storage environment through which now a user can store up to 2 GB data over internet for a free.

By using Software Center, you can have lot of free open-source applications to download through internet including games, office, education, audiovisual, and programming codes. Ubuntu is fully translated in 23 languages to be used around the world becoming most accessible operating system.
